STUART, FL - What does every little girl want . . . a beautiful doll house that can be played with and enjoyed by her friends and family. For the last year, Carol Burke, a volunteer at Molly's House has been working on a two story doll house, complete with furnishings.
The doll house was donated to Molly's House by George and Joann Rebhold of Hobe Sound in January 2008. "The house was only 25% complete when it arrived, stated Louise Murtaugh Executive Director of Molly's House. At first, the doll house sat upstairs. One evening Carol asked what else she could help us with besides being our Librarian. She took a look at the doll house and see if she wanted to work on it. Carol took over the project and has completed 95% of the customizing. Carol thought it would be nice for the new owner to put the finishing touches on it and make it their own. The doll house is currently on display at Molly's House.
The doll house will be raffled off November 5, 2009 during the season opening reception of Molly's Gallery. Tickets for the drawing are $5 each of 5 for $20 and are available at Molly's House in advance, or through our volunteers.
Make a dream come true for one lucky little girl and enter today!
For more information on Molly's House visit the website at www.mollyshouse.org or stop by and ask a volunteer to give you a tour and show you the doll house. Molly's House is a hospitality house that provides temporary lodging for patients and their families while receiving medical care on the Treasure Coast.
