Swashbuckler Ball Committee "Unfurling Their Sails"!
STUART, FL - Although it may seem like a few months away....February will "sail in" much faster than you think! The Volunteer Swashbuckler committee chairs along with
John Pierson,
Barry Grant, and
Mark Perry gathered at
John Pierson's Toyotaof Stuart to kick-off the Swashbuckler Ball 2010 preparations, and are preparing for you to head your schooner in to
Port Royal - the Pirates' Realm! The Florida Oceanographic Coastal Center (FOCC) is hosting their 11th annual Swashbuckler Ball on Thursday, February 25, 2010, at Sandsprit Park, from 6:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. Always a Treasure Coast favorite, the pirate-themed event benefits FOCC's mission to inspire environmental stewardship of Florida's coastal ecosystems through education and research. This year's Port Royal sponsor,

Scott Richardson, the
JukeBox Band, guests, volunteers, and additional sponsors.
FOCC is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organizations that relies on active participation and support of their members, staff, and community partners. FOCC is looking forward to another successful event filled with pirates, wenches, and fun. The evening will feature feasting, grog, games, contests, booty, auctions, and entertainment.
