Children's Museum Sees Record Attendance
Contributed by: Tammy Calabria on 9/29/2009

The Children's Museum of the Treasure Coast had over 2500 visitors for it's 5th Annual TreasureFest Family Fun Day. It was a spectacular day for the children and families who attended the event. Patrons enjoyed sailing with The Sailing Center, paddle surfing with Ohana Surf Shop, wild animals with The Treasure Coast Wildlife Center, treasure hunts and so much more. Live entertainment was provided by South Fork High School, The Avenue D Boys Choir, Morningside Academy, St. Joseph's Catholic School Jazz Band and The Bach Children's Music School. 94.7FM and the St. Lucie Mets mascot, Slider, even came out to join in the fun. The Humane Society of the Treasure Coast brought out the Animobile for the day and found homes for some of the pets too! "It was great exposure for the Museum and we were excited to see visitors coming from Vero and Indiantown to enjoy the festivities" said Olivia Labrador. We would like to thank all of the coordinators and volunteers who made the event such a success. For more information on upcoming event visit our website www.childrensmuseumtc.org.
