Local Horse Rescue Featured at Celebration

Over the weekend, the Equine Rescue & Adoption Foundation (ERAF) was featured at the Parelli Celebration in Lakeland, Florida. This year, the Parelli's partnered with the Humane Society of the United States to feature rescue horses on their national tour. On each day of the Celebration, Pat Parelli played with one of ERAF's horses (Reina) in front of thousands of Parelli fans. At the end of the Celebration, Reina was adopted by by a young man who hopes to bring her back next year as a featured demonstration horse.

ERAF is located in Palm City, Florida and has been rescuing, rehabilitating, and adopting horses since 2000. For more information, please see our website at www.ERAF.org or join us to celebrate Logan's first birthday on October 31st. Last year, Logan was rescued from an alleged slaughterhouse in Miami when he was only a few days old. Both Logan and his mother are among the horses available for adoption at ERAF.
