Log On the Loggerhead is a huge fan of corner cafs, so Bistro Madeleine sounded like the usual suspect.

One of my loggerhead friends told me about a small French bistro in Palm City that served excellent food, andbeing an inquisitive turtle, I checked it out.

When my turtle friend and I crawled into the diner it was obvious that the lunch rush hadn't hit yet.

The lunch menu was filled with items like the Monte Cristo, $6.50, a classic sandwich served on cinnamon swirl bread and the Chicken Cordon Bleu, $7.95, which tempted my turtle tastebuds.

Ultimately, I decided on the Chicken Friand, $7.50, a combination of grilled, marinated chicken breast with mushrooms, onions and Swiss cheese served between flaky puff pastry, topped with Hollandaise sauce and a side of french fries.

My dining companion ordered two crepe roll-ups, $6.50, stuffed with sauted mushrooms, onions and brie with french fries on the side.

By the time we ordered, the bistro was packed with hungry patrons, so it was a good thing that we beat the lunch time rush.

The service was excellentand to no surprise, it didn't take long for our food arrive.

I was thoroughly impressed by the overall dining experience and recommend Madeleine to any hungry turtle.
