United Soccer Club's u-15 Boys team pictured
above recently participated in the US Club Soccer Florida State Cup
at beautiful Lake Sylvan Park located in Seminole County, Florida
on March 25-26.
The competition began on a very cool and crisp Saturday morning
with a hard fought but unfortunate 2-1 loss to Tallahassee United.
This game was well played by both squads. Later that same
day,United's u-15's took the pitch against a tough Seminole Soccer
Club team. United was victorious on this occasion, coming away with
a 3-0 shutout win. Again, the boys played very well. A third game
was then played, bright and early on Sunday morning against Boca
Juniors. Hard to believe, but the boys must have followedUnited's
Director Of Coaching Paul Gibbons good advice to eat well and rest
properly onSaturday night. The United u-15's came out and played
with high energy, smarts and sharp skills during this very exciting
game which ended in a 0-0 tie...The 1-1-1 record after the 3 games
was not quite enough to put the boys in the Championship
game.United's u-15 boysdemonstrated their ongoing soccer
development as individuals as well as a team on this very worthy
and successful weekend.
