LOCAL SWIM CLUB OUTPERFORMS AT JUNIOR OLYMPICS

TREASURE COAST AQUATICS SWIM CLUB OUTPERFORMS AT JUNIOR OLYMPIC CHAMPIONSHIP
The O'Connel Aquatics Center at the University of Florida, Gainesville was home to the 2008 Florida Swimming Junior Olympic Championships on July 17-20. Treasure Coast Aquatics Swim Club of Martin County,coachedby Palm City resident Pat Toner,along with hisdedicated team of assistant coaches watched as 11 of their 35-member swim team finished 14th in a field of 55 teams.
Treasure Coast Aquatics 10-and-under relay team ( Antonella Ambrosini, Hannah Burdge, Sabrina Fehafer and Erin Proctor) finished 2nd overall. All four girls also finished in the top eight of all individual events.
Other qualifying JO team members include: Teo D'Alessandro, Macey Arnold,Daniele Weller, Emma Madden, Alexander Madden, Ben Madden, and Kennedy Quist.
Treasure Coast Aquatics is a United States Competitive Swimming program for individuals ages 5 to 18, and adult Masters. TCA practices Monday through Friday from 6:15pm to 8:00pm. Coaches are Life Guard and CPR/First Aid certified. Treasure Coast Aquatics promotes teamwork, responsibility, independence, self-discipline, sportsmanship and individual achievement.
