Raptors split series with Grasshoppers

After both games in a series against the Muck Dogs were called due to rain and soggy fields, the mighty Ogden Raptors finally got back into action this week. The Raptors split a Monday-Saturday series against the formidable, orange-clad Grasshoppers. The 'Hoppers took the Monday night game with a flurry of runs and stolen bases in the bottom of the 6th inning, then the Raptors evened things out Saturday afternoon with an exciting, come-from-behind victory. Coach Brian Schoch called the comeback "...a gritty performance that spoke volumes of his team's character"

The Raptors are now 2 and 1 on the season and have a Monday-Saturday series this week against a scrappy Lugnuts team in Stuart.
