Raptors claw back over .500
Contributed by: Mike Johnson on 3/24/2008

The Ogden Raptors showed just what they're made of Saturday against a feisty Lugnuts team. With they're strongest showing to date the Raptors climbed back over .500 for the season with a convincing victory over the red-clad Lugnuts.
After dropping a heartbreaker to the Lugnuts earlier in the week, the Raptors, spurred on by some lights-out pitching from Brian Ware, Hunter Schoch and Carson Moore, avenged the Monday night loss. Prior to the start of Saturday's rain-dampened game, Coach Brian Schoch reminded his pitchers that 'walks kill.' The boys each responded with flurries of strikes and strike-outs. The Raptors' bats were also doing their part as Ogden posted their season high run total.

The Raptors, looking for their first back-to-back wins of the season, will play host to the visiting Mets at Sailfish Park in Stuart on Thursday evening and will wrap-up the first half of the season against the Mets on Saturday at Palm City Park.

Congratulations to our Raptors and the Lugnuts for a well-played series!
