Raptors split a Jurassic-sized series
Contributed by: Mike Johnson on 4/28/2008

The Ogden Raptors of Martin County North Little League improved their record to 9 and 3 on Saturday by beating the Sidewinders in Palm City. The game was the second of a two-game set against the venomous opponents, the first of which was won by the Sidewinders the previous Monday evening. These two teams are evenly matched and both sides had solid and vocal support from their respective fan-bases. On Monday, the Sidewinders snapped the Raptors' 6-game win streak so the Raptors worked extra hard at the following practice to avoid being snake-bit twice. The extra focus at practice proved to be the necessary antivenin and kept our Raptors from being swept.
Congratulations to the Sidewinders on an awesome series. And a super big congratulations to our very own Raptors! Next up; a Monday/Saturday series against the Storm.
