Some of you probably saw that I had listed this website for sale. But, I have decided to take more time out of my day to help get Tcboater.com running.

I have decided to Blog about my experience in Starting, maintaining and marketing a website.
First you might want to check out the site. It is called Treasure Coast Boater and the web site address is www.tcboater.com.

It took me 4 months to get everything together. I used Joomla's Content Management Systems which is an open source solution that is freely available to everybody. Visit Joomla at www.Joomla.org. There are many extensions and plugins that I used to make this website unique.

The reason why I decided to start a Fishing and Boating Classified site is because My husband and I really enjoy fishing and boating in the Treasure Coast. My husband is a boat FANATIC!! He knows the Boat Trader inside and out. Occasionally, he will buy a boat, fix-it and sell it for a nice profit.

Which is Wonderful. But, What bothers me is the fact that we pay so much money in advertisement. If you sell your boat on E-bay.com you get only 10 days to sell your boat and you will pay three times as much as the Boat Trader and will run the risk of a fraudulent transaction and/or a Non Paying Customer. The Boat Trader is quite expense also but, when placing and ad here you know that you are almost guaranteed to sell your boat.
