Yates & Associates Receives More Awards
Contributed by: Sam Yates Yates & Associates on 4/24/2008

PORT SALERNO, Florida/April 24, 2008 - Since 1957, the Florida Public Relations Association has been conducting the Image Awards to recognize outstanding public relations programs in our state, and to promote the development of public relations professionalism. Once again, Yates & Associates received awards for two of its projects.

Winners demonstrate the very best examples of innovation, planning anddesign. To qualify for judging, entries must incorporate sound public relations research and planning, as well as meet the highest standard of production, execution and evaluation of results and budget. This year's entries from the Treasure Coast Chapter were judged by the Orlando Chapter.

Awards of Distinction are presented to entries that meet the standards of excellence set by a panel of judges. Yates & Associates won an Award of Distinction for its Viesel Campaign. "Viesel is the environmentally-friendly, economical alternative to diesel fuel," explained Sam Yates, President, Yates & Associates. "Cooke's Environmental Services converted its fleet of trucks to run on recycled vegetable oil. The company needed promotional/marketing support to promote and market the use of recycled vegetable oil as an alternate to high priced diesel. Yates & Associates created a brand, Viesel, with a variety of support collateral and publicity," added Yates.

Judges Awards are presented by judges for outstanding entries that achieve maximum results while using a minimum amount of money. Yates & Associates received a Judges Award for The Official Red Cross Hurricane Guide 2007. "We are proud to be recognized by our peers for the excellent services that we provide our clients," said Yates. The Official Red Cross Hurricane Guide 2007 was produced free for the American Red Cross by Hometown News. "We are especially thankful for the Hometown News for making this project a reality and for helping keep our residents safe and sound during hurricane season," added Yates.
