On Friday morning, September 21st four South Fork High students talked about their experience attending Boys & Girls State.. They were accompanied by Marilyn Anderson who was a chaperon/ nurse that went with them to Tallahassee this year. The students, Adam Blythe, Alex Merritt, Jared Gaylord & Anna Collins told the Hobe Sound/Port Salerno Rotary Club about the busy week the separate boys and girls programs involved as they "operated" State government. At the conclusion of their speaking about State, the Rotary Club gave Mrs. Anderson a check for $700 to underwrite the cost of sending students from Martin County to this fabulous program each year.
