Are you a friendly, empathetic, non-judgmental teen looking for community service hours to fulfill your community service requirements? Become a Teen Ambassador with 211 Palm Beach/Treasure Coast! Learn valuable skills to educate your peers and family members about the services available in your community and promote the use of 211 as a problem solving tool.

211 Palm Beach/Treasure Coast is a non-profit organization that provides access to information, referral, telephone counseling, and crisis intervention as well as community education services. By simply dialing 2-1-1, individuals are able to talk to specially trained counselors who provide supportive counseling and/or referrals to appropriate community services. Programs and services are FREE and available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for individuals of all ages.

In addition, 211 has recently incorporated the use of instant messaging for the teenage population via AOL Instant Messenger services. A teen who feels more comfortable "chatting" online can simply log on to AOL's Instant Messenger at www.aim.com, use one of the two screen names provided, TEEN211PBTC1 or TEEN211PBTC2, and "chat" with one of our highly trained staff members from the hours of 3:00pm to 11:00pm.
