Contributed by: Frozen Ropes of Stuart on 4/16/2007

The Frozen Ropes of Stuart Baseball and Softball Training center recently held its first Spring Break Camp at Halpatiokee Park in Stuart. Over 35 campers, between the ages of 7 through 12, attended the four day fun and instructional program.

Owners Brook Fordyce and Joe Marasa and the Frozen Ropes of Stuart instructors presented the camp with the program focusing on various fundamental skills, including a concentration on hitting, throwing and catching, fielding, pitching and catcher position and baserunning, as well as a morning wake-up conditioning program. Each day ended with a fun game relating to the instructional programs of the day.

Frozen Ropes of Stuart is a new 15,000 square foot baseball and softball training center located on Ellipse Way, off Kanner Highway and Jack James Drive. The facility includes a Turfed Infield, All Star 5000 Pitching Simulator Hitting Tunnels for both Baseball and Softball, Pitching Tunnels, Party Rooms and Pro Shop, and will offer a variety of programs for all ages and abilities.
