The Northern Palm Beach County Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce its 2008-2009 Board of Directors led by new Chairman Dennis LaBarbera of Edward Jones Investments.

"Our goals for the upcoming year include growing and branding the Chamber with a new logo and Web site which will be unveiling soon," said LaBarbera who has been a member of the Chamber since 2001 and served on the Board of the Directors for the past four years. "We are also setting a goal for the Chamber to have 80% retention and over 250 new members by July 1, 2010."

Ed Sabin of Biomet 31 moved into the Immediate Past Chair position and Neil Gaeta of Fischer Gaeta Corporation became the Chair Elect. Michael Mitrione, Esquire of Gunster Yoakley assumed the position of Secretary and Woody Roe, CPA of The Roe Group, LLC, takes over as Treasurer. Along with the officers, Rita Craig of The Craig Group, Patti Hamilton of The Schumacher Automotive Group, Donald Kiselewski of Florida Power & Light, and Greg Leach of Seacoast National Bank will also serve on the 2008-2009 Board of Directors' Executive Committee.

In addition to the Executive Committee, the Board of Directors includes Board at Large members. Duncan Middle School; Patty Dent, BankAtlantic; Charles Gilbert, CFP, Charles Gilbert and Associates; Mark Holmes, Century 21 Homes Realty; Ken Kennerly, The Honda Classic; Dr. Robert Kneip; Ken Montgomery, Barnabas Consulting; Dr. Kristen Murtaugh, Florida Atlantic University; David Pettit, Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center and John Wolf, Jupiter Medical Center.
