One Thousand Ocean pool deck well underway

BOCA RATON, Fla. -- One Thousand Ocean continues to make a splash.

Now that the swimming pool area at One Thousand Ocean has been excavated, concrete poured and grading of the pool deck is underway, and the private cabanas are being finished off, the beachside outdoor area of the new luxury condominium is taking shape. In October, some of the wood decking will be installed, with landscaping in this area commencing in mid-November and finishing by the end of the year. Completion of the building is slated for January 2010.

One Thousand Ocean, developed by LXR Luxury Resorts, is making a splash in other ways, too - from its prime ocean-to-Intracoastal location immediately north of the Boca Raton Inlet, and proximity to the Boca Raton Resort's Beach Club, to its iconic, nautilus-shaped architecture and high level of features and finishes.

Private Residences, Penthouses and one- and two-story Beach Villas are priced within the seven-story boutique building from $3 million to over $15 million.

Garcia Stromberg is the architectural firm for the project; EDSA is the landscape architect; Pavarini Company SE is the general contractor.
