Nightcrawlers

On the outskirts of Dover Foxcroft, Maine

lies Big John's

he sells nightcrawlers

me and my dad go there

to get some, to fish

I never liked worms

and these are bigger

the fun part is getting them on

the hook just right

to try and catch

a landlocked salmon

or a brook trout

you got to troll

all day

the biggest I ever got

was four and a half pounds

and when I held him up

he was half the size

of me...
