The Benjamin School's BASH TakesaTrip To Monte Carlo
The Benjamin School in Northern Palm Beach County announced their annual fundraiser BASH will be held Friday, April 11 at The Beakers in Palm Beach. Co-Chairs Mary Stanton and Margi Vorder Bruegge along with their committee selected the theme "A Night in Monte Carlo".
This year's BASH activities include dinner, live entertainment from Eclipse, a live and silent auction and faux gambling with a craps table, a roulette wheel, slot machines and a Texas Hold 'em Tournament. Some of the premier auction items this year include an electric motorcycle, dinner for ten at a local connoisseur's private wine cellar and tickets to 2009 Super Bowl. All the proceeds from the gala go to The Benjamin Fund which supports school programs.
All the fun at The Breakers starts at 7 p.m. Sponsorship opportunities are still available by contacting The Benjamin School's Developmental Office at (561) 472-3483. For more information about B.A.S.H. or to purchase tickets, visit the Web site at

BASH was created by former Benjamin School parents Babs Fisher and Barbara Nicklaus. Mrs. Fisher and Mrs. Nicklaus were co-chairs of the school's first-ever annual gala dinner and fundraiser, and they gave the event the name it still holds today, BASH, an acronym for Building A Scholastic Heritage. Since the first
gala, BASH has been an annual event and one of the school's largest fundraiser.
The Benjamin School, a pre-kindergarten through grade 12 independent school, has a curriculum focusing on college preparatory education. More information about The Benjamin School can be found at their Web site
