Palm Beach Gardens, FL. - Temple Judea in Palm Beach Gardens announces the appointment of Lesley Levin as new Youth Group Director. Lesley comes to Temple Judea from Washington, D.C. She is a graduate of Ohio State University with a B.A. in Jewish Studies. Lesley brings years of youth group and teaching experience to her new position.

Her official roll as Youth Group Director is complimented by her dual position as Residential Camp Scholarship Coordinator with the Jewish Federation of Palm Beach County.

After only a few months into Levin's tenure, Temple Judea's Youth Group JUiCY was awarded the Outstanding Social Program Award in May, 2008 by the Palm Beach County Jewish Teen Initiative.

Under Lesley's direction Temple Judea has been selected to host the NFTY (North American Federation of Temple Youth) Winter Regional Kallah, Oct. 17 th-19 th. Temple Judea will welcome approximately 300 Jewish teens from the Southeast Region to participate in workshops, services and special projects. Temple Judea members are urged to support the program by housing visiting teens.

Temple Judea's JUiCY teen Board of Directors is led by President, Elizabeth Burger and Vice President, Ilyse Bell. A number of other members of the JUiCY Youth Group actively participate in Federation sponsored activities including The March of the Living, Gesher Hai Israel trip, Panim El Panim, The Jewish Teen Initiative/Teen Outreach Council (Youth Ambassadors to the Jewish teen community), LLTI and NFTY-STR Regional Conventions. Many JUiCY members are also active in their high school JSU (Jewish Student Unions).

JUiCY Open House is planned for August 15, 2008 at Temple Judea. Learn more about JUiCY and the exciting teen programs scheduled for the coming year.
