Attorney Willie E. Gary to speak at PBCC's King Celebration themed "Bringing Unity to the Community"
WHAT: Palm Beach Community College will present Martin Luther King, Jr. Leadership Awards to three individuals and an organization during its 8 th Annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Celebration Breakfast. The award recipients are:
Reginale Durandisse, founder and chief executive officer of Lake Worth-based For the Children, Inc.; Palm Beach County Sheriff's
Lt. Beverly Elliott Morrison; PBCC at Palm Beach Gardens student
Roma Kapadia and the Martin Luther King, Jr. Coordinating Committee, a West Palm Beach organization led by Executive Director Edith Bush.
Prominent Stuart attorney Willie E. Gary will be the keynote speaker at the celebration themed "Bringing Unity to the Community." Following the celebration, Gary will hold a Q&A session with PBCC students at the Duncan Theatre.
WHEN: Thursday, Jan. 11, 2007
Breakfast begins at 7:30 a.m. and the program begins at 8 a.m. Gary will begin speaking at about 8:25 a.m. Dr. Dennis P. Gallon, president of PBCC, will present the awards after Gary speaks.
