La Reina Supermarket will be offering a FREE breakfast to anyone who visits the store on Lake Worth between 6 and 10 am on Tuesday March 17. The supermarket anticipates that more than 2000 people will take advantage of this free breakfast offer.

"We are always looking for way to help the community" says Luban Quiceno, La Reina general manager. "This free breakfast is just a way to support a community that is struggling. We have seen how the economy affecting our customers, some of them buy chicken instead of beef because it's cheaper and some of them just buy pasta and don't buy any kind of meat at all. We are worried because we don't know if they are getting enough" he adds.

This free breakfast is part of a month long campaign launched by La Reina last week. It is called "Marzo Mes de Ayuda a La Familia" or "March: month to help families". "Every weekend during March, La Reina its hosting an event that benefits the community. Last Saturday Integral Clinic offered free check ups, Healthy Mothers Healthy Babies was providing important information and this Saturday we are going to have healthy cooking demonstrations, on the 21 st Dalia's Accounting will be processing free tax id's and on the 28 th we are going to have a fun family event with children activities and a domino tournament sponsored by Budweiser" Quiceno said.

The breakfast features scrambled eggs, a sausage link (chorizo), tortillas, cheese bread and a can of juice from "Jugos del Valle" a company supporting the event.

Consumers who take advantage of La Reina free breakfast will get many surprises: other companies that are the supermarket's providers will be offering free items such as Lala yogurts, Supremo chorizos and cheese, Maseca, Mexican toast "Charras", Juanitas posole and Klass juices, all free with no purchase required.
