Tux Shop with the support of M.A.D.D.
to Host First Annual Prom Fair
The Tux Shop in conjunction with Mother Against Drunk Driving (M.A.D.D.) will be hosting the First Annual Prom Fair on Saturday, March 15 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at PGA Commons West on PGA Boulevard in Palm Beach Gardens. From renting a tuxedo to making a dinner reservation, the First Annual Prom Fair offers high school students a one stop shop where they can plan their perfect prom date, and M.A.D.D. will be on hand with giveaways to remind students about being responsible on Prom night.
"I enjoy helping the students out, because I know from experience how difficult it can be to arrange a whole night of activities," said Tux Shop owner Susan Damon who created and organized the Prom Fair to assist students in arranging their perfect prom night.
For the guys attending the Prom Fair, they will have the option to chose their favorite tuxedo to rent and limo to ride in while they make reservations at one of the PGA Commons restaurants on hand -- Off the Vine, Metronome, Vic & Angelos, Spoto's Oakwood Grill and Spoto's Oyster Bar-- many of which will be offering special pre-fixed menus in honor of prom night.
The girls at the Prom Fair will be treated to the latest trends in hair and make-up by the area's top stylists and make-up artists provided by Gilded Salon & Spa, who will also be giving complimentary tours of their newly renovated salon and spa. In addition, the girls will be shown the latest in dresses and accessories by local vendors.
The Prom Fair's host The Tux Shop will also be giving away a $1,200 Prom Night Package to one lucky student and their date. Students must register at the Tux Shop during the Prom Fair and the lucky couple's names will be drawn at 5 p.m.
The First Annual Prom Fair will start at 2 p.m, on Saturday, March 15 and will continue until around 5 p.m. at The Tux Shop located at 5540 PGA Boulevard in PGA Commons West. The Prom Fair will have everything a student needs to arrange the perfect Prom night with safety in mind. For more information about the Prom Fair, call the Tux Shop at (561) 626-8899.
