Lots of food, games, music and fun at SACI's picnic

Over 60 members, families and friends of Spanish American Club, Inc. (SACI) attended the annual picnic of the club on Saturday, June 20, 2009. What a great day. The weather was perfect for an outdoor event. Lots of food, music, games and laughs were had by all.

The members and guests started with a breakfast prepared by the president Jimmy Rivera, and then they ate lunch and played some games as dominoes, volleyball, horseshoe, etc. Later in the afternoon some raffles (50/50 and a five days boat cruise) and a hat dance added to the excitement. The winners were Nilda Betancourt (Cruise), Dina Castro (50/50) and Delia Díaz (Hat Dance). All proceeds will go to the scholarship funds of the club.

We are especially pleased with the hard work of our board, the picnic committee and the members who volunteers to raised funs for the scholarship.
