Members of the SACI celebrated their 17 th Anniversary
Members and supporters of the Spanish American Club, Inc. (SACI) celebrated their 17 th Anniversary with an evening of elegance, good food and dancing.
The evening began with a delicious buffet, then the board presentednew members that were present at the party, gave awards tonew honorary members and the Scholarship Committee held some raffles to raise funds for the scholarship. The winners were as follows: Mario Franceschi (Door prize), Evie Cardona (50/50), Andrea Moreira (Certificate) and Millie Gordon (Certificate) and Teresita Prado (Hat dance).
After the dinner and presentation, the members and guest dance with the Latin rhythm of Mendoza sound until late at night.
Thanks to Jimmy and Kathy Rivera who coordinated the event and reserved the clubhouse. Many thanks go to the members that donated the gifts for the party. Nancy Rozon (Door Prize), Lucy Santa (Bottle of wine for the hat dance). Special thanks go to Millie Rivera for the preparation of the food and to Attorney Fasula who donated 2 power of attorney certificates.
The nonprofit organization's mission is to preserve the Hispanic heritage in the Treasure Coast, pulling together Hispanics from Martin and St. Lucie counties. The members meet once a month to dine, dance, socialize and raise funds for the scholarship.
