SACI's Halloween Party
There was no trick-or-trick but a lot of ghosts, ghouls, sundry creepy critters, mummies, monsters, vampires, pirates, witches that dominated the annual Halloween Party as high number of members of the Spanish American Club, Inc. (SACI) dressed up for the occasion to enjoyed a night of food, music and dancing.
The event was planned by club members Al and Virginia Feliciano. The evening featured music by D.J. Mendoza Sound, raffles to raise funds for the scholarship, best costume contest, door prizes and plenty of delicious Latin food to top off the event.
The winners of the party were as follows: Mary Figliola and Felix Asencio (Halloween costume contest), Lois Olivari and Maite Peterson (Door Prizes), Herman Santa (50/50), Diane Sperl (Painting) and Isa Bryson (Hat dance).
Our thanks and gratitude goes to Feliciano family, to the Board, to all the members that helped with the decoration and made donations for the school supplies. Many thanks to the members that made donations for the door prizes and for the raffles: They are: Nancy Rozon (Halloween Basket), Lila Cifuentes (Bath Basket), Jimmy Rivera (Bottle of champagne), Lucy Santa (Bottle of wine), Felix Asencio (Painting). Special thanks to Jose's Barbershop and La Voz (lavoznewstc.com) for sponsoring the event. Your support is greatly appreciated.
