Turning Trash into Treasure

"Turning trash into Treasure" is a new blog created by Executive Director of the ReUse Center of the Treasure Coast, Deb Krueger, to exchange ideas about easy ways to "go green", to "support the second arrow: reuse" by reusing common every day items, and save the environment in achievable ways. I want to have a fashion show with clothing and accessories made from reusable materials so I'm looking for some input....and for my 50th birthday (In May) I want to sit in a dumpster all day to raise awareness of the extreme amount of materials that are thrown away by businesses which could instead be used by local artists, teachers, parents and kids. Let's support the second arrow together!!

First of all, hey, where's the "environmental" or "green" category choice??
I think we really need one...who will join me on that?
I'm turning 50 next month and originally thought I'd get in really good shape and jump out of my own birthday cake...but then I got tired of going to the gym... so I decided instead that I want to sit in a dumpster all day to help raise awareness of the immense amount of items that are thrown away by businesses which could instead be reused by teachers, artists, and children in art and education projects....looking for folks to help me with this birthday event I'm planning on May 10th....to promote supporting the second arrow: reuse!
