The Spanish American Club, Inc. (SACI) donated a scholarship to a local Hispanic student. The scholarship of $500 was awarded to Tayliz Joan Rodriguez. Tayliz a Puerto Rican descendant lives in Palm City and is attending Jensen Beach High School with a 3.9 GPA (Grade Point Average). She plans to study Business Administration and Musical Theater at Florida University.

In 1992, the foundation began awarding scholarships to Hispanic seniors graduating from martin or St. Lucie high schools. Since that time, more than $12,500 has been granted for this purpose. We are very proud of our recipients and wish them the good luck. Many thanks tour board of directors and to the scholarship committee who helped raised the funds for this year scholarships.
