The purpose of Celebrate Recovery is to encourage fellowship and to celebrate God's healing power in our lives as we work our way along the road to recovery. We are changed as we share our experiences, strengths, and hopes with one another. In addition, we become willing to accept God's grace and forgiveness in solving our life's problems.
Celebrate Recovery is designed for those of us with a variety of problems including:

Abuse/Anger, Alcohol/Drugs, Anxiety/Fear, Codependency, Controlling Behavior, Divorce, Eating Disorders, Gambling, Grief, Hurtful Relationships, Hypochondria, Insecurities, Kleptomania, Lying, , Overworking, Perfectionism, Pride, Procrastination, Pornography, Sexual Addictions, Sexual Integrity, and many more.

As you can see this is a BIG umbrella.

There is a saying in Celebrate Recovery: There are two types of people, the ones in Recovery and the ones that should be in Recovery from life's HURTS, HABITS, & HANG UPS.

CELEBRATE RECOVERY at GRAPEVIVE UMC offers a small group setting with a big heart for the hurting. We are called to reach out to others and to raise them up for GOD'S PURPOSE. GOD wants you to be healed and is waiting for you to take that step of faith. Step out of Denial and come into the Grace of God.
