Dream by Day, WriteByNight:
The Arts Council's new creative writing program

Who says dreams need be confined to sleeping hours? WriteByNight's creative writing workshop is turning conventional wisdom on its ear. We say, use your days for inspiration, imagination, and narration. Nights, deliver that energy to our writer's roundtable.

Founded by professional writers and word-lovers Justine Tal Goldberg and David Duhr and sponsored by The Arts Council, Inc., serving Stuart and Martin County, WriteByNight is a new and exciting addition to the local literary scene. We offer a creative writing workshop modeled after the top master's programs, but open to novices and published authors alike. Our mission: to improve every aspect of your writing and make you the best writer you can possibly be.

How do we do it? By making your writing our #1 priority. You'll receive an absolute minimum of 45 minutes of in-depth feedback each and every time you submit. As a member of the WriteByNight community, you'll have at your disposal a dedicated group of like-minded people with whom to exchange words, ideas, and resources. You'll benefit from verbal and written feedback provided by group members and instructors, one-on-one consultation with WriteByNight's co-founders, insiders' advice on how to see your work published, thought-provoking discussions about contemporary literature, and training in how to read and respond to prose with a writer's awareness.

Our fall workshop session runs October 27 - December 15. We meet 6 - 8:30 p.m. every Tuesday in the Ayres Gallery at The Arts Council in Stuart.

To register, email info@writebynight.net or call 914-420-0821 with interest. You may also visit our registration page at www.writebynight.net.

Want to learn more? Attend one of our free information seminars on Tuesday, October 20 at 6 and 7 p.m. and Monday, October 26 at 6 and 7 p.m. at The Arts Council, located in the Court House Cultural Center at 80 East Ocean Blvd., Stuart.

Dream literary, dream big, and let WriteByNight turn your writerly dreams into reality.
