St. Lucie Chamber of Commerce recently announced the appointment of Greg Kimmins, Vice President and Senior Branch Manager, Seacoast National Bank, to the position of Co-Chair of the Business Development Committee.
"We welcome the leadership that Greg will provide to the Chamber's Business Development Committee," explained Linda Cox, President/CEO, St. Lucie County Chamber of Commerce. "He brings a wealth of community knowledge and service to this position."
The Chamber's Business Development Committee encourages growth of existing companies through a regular visitation program. Committee members are responsible for informing businesses of services and available assistance, hosting an annual dinner honoring the contributions of new and expanded businesses and hosting a regular speaker series on business related topics.
Kimmins has been with Seacoast National Bank since 2002, serving St. Lucie County for the past seven years. In addition to his position as Co-Chair of the Chamber's Business Development Committee, he also graduated from the Chamber Leadership Class #26 and has served as a cabinet member for the 2008 St. Lucie County United Way Campaign. As an active member of the Fort Pierce Exchange Club since 2004, he's participated with the Seacoast National Bank employee volunteer team that has raised $75,000 for the Chili Cook-Off that benefitted CASTLE.
The operating arm of Seacoast Banking Corporation of Florida (NASDAQ: SBCF) Seacoast National Bank has 41 offices in Florida and approximately $2.3 billion in assets, and is one of the largest independent banks headquartered in Florida.
