Mini Escape For GRA Classroom Instructors

How do we appreciate all that our teachers do?

This year for teacher appreciation, Golden Rule Academy teachers escaped the usual routine and were treated to a mini spa. Administrative staff and volunteers whisked teachers out of their classroom for a 45 minute session. They were escorted to the church foyer, which was set up with a delightful spread of refreshments; including nonalcoholic Mimosa's, fresh strawberries, pastries, & chocolate truffles. After each instructor opened a gift bag created just for them, they were escorted into another room for a complimentary Satin Hands treatment,
by Mary Kay representative, Tammy Connelly.

As the recliners became available, teachers leaned back for a 15 minute neck and arm massage, with cooling eye pads, a heated neck warmer, and the "head tingler" treatment - all while gentle classical melodies flowed in the background. A few teachers even drifted off into a very, very relaxed slumber.

It is hard to put into words a teacher's value - it is difficult to measure the impact teachers have on us as individuals, as a school, and as a society, but the call of a teacher is truly a noble one. We respect and appreciate our educators at Golden Rule Academy.
