Once again, the Jaguar Battalion Color Guard conducted another superb Color Guard at Sportsman's Park Saturday. The Jaguar Battalion was invited to present the colors at Port St. Lucie Athletic Association's Football Jamboree. The Color Guard was a veteran group that included Cadet Command Sergeant Major Travis Riegler, Cadet Captain Salvatore Monteleone, Cadet Master Sergeant Meghin Mulrooney, and Cadet Sergeant Andrew Bondi. For their part, the Color Guard was asked to raise the flag, lead the Jamboree's Parade and present the Color for the Pledge of Allegiance and the National Anthem. The Guard raised the flag to half-staff, in honor of the late Senator Ted Kennedy, and led the parade with precision. The Guard then presented the Colors in a professional manner.
The public greatly appreciated the actions of the Color Guard, with multiple spectators approaching the group with thanks and praise. As always, the Jaguar Battalion did a great job performing a service for our community.
