Campfire Stories in the Classroom at St. Anastasia
Contributed by: Linette Trabulsy on 9/29/2009

Mrs. Jennie Capezza's second grade class at St. Anastasia Catholic School read the story "Henry and Mudge and the Starry Night" in September. The story was about a family camping adventure and as an integrated writing lesson, students wrote their own narrative stories about their own camping adventures. At the end of the week, the class rolled out their sleeping bags, made a "campfire" and enjoyed tasty marshmallows while sharing their creative stories! How fun!

Located at 401 South 33rd Street in Fort Pierce, St. Anastasia Catholic School is fully accredited by the Florida Catholic Conference, an agency recognized by the State of Florida to accredit Catholic Schools and is a member of the National Catholic Educational Association.
