After a performance filled season True Crew Dance Co. finished it competition season
ON TOP while staying true to its mission of
academics and family first! Students of
True Crew Dance Co. range in age from 5 through high school and the company classes practice only one day per week for approximately 45 minutes to 1 ½ hours. This enables the students the time needed to keep up with their academics as well as have time spent with their families or other hobbies. Students may also choose to take classes at True Crew but not compete with the company as they offer classes in all types of dance education as well as all levels.
True Crew is under the direction of Toni Pressimone a 3rd grade teacher in the St. Lucie County School System. Ms. Pressimone knows the importance of academics being an educator, as well as how important family time is raising her two sons, AJ and Mikey.
The past season has been spectacular; from community performances, assisted living care performances and their competitions at Starbound National Talent Competition, Florida State Dance Championships and Showstoppers American Dance Championships. Over the last month, True Crew groups, duets and soloists have come home with
6 High Silvers,
10 Gold,
15 High Golds,
5 Platinum, 6 Top 5 Overall Scores,
5 Highest Overall Scores of the competitions as well as receiving
2 Florida State Dance Titles. This was the first year that the students competed a Full Company Production entitled
Crews in the Jungle and not only received
High Gold, but also received the
Overall Highest Score for their category. Not to mention, their teacher, Ms. Toni also competed as a soloist and in a duet with her son Mikey and received
Platinum in both routines as well as
Overall Highest Score for their duet and
Top 3 for Teacher's Solos.
True Crew's Dance Co. presently has a
Sophomore GirlsCo. age 6 - 10;
Senior Girls Co. ages 11-16;
Sr. Boyz Co. age 13 - 16;
Mixed Hip Hop Co. age 5 - 16; and their
Full Production Company of students ranging in age from 5 - 16. They expect to expand their company to include a Jr. Boys Hip Hop as well as a Mini Co.
True Crew is holding two
Summer Dance Camps during the weeks of
June 9 th - 13 th and July 28 th - August 1 st as well as

True Crew is also having its Annual Dance Spectacular at Treasure Coast High School on Saturday, June 1 st 2008 at 2:00 p.m. Tickets may be purchased at the door or in advance by coming to the studio.
