Dance studio off to an uplifting first year

Mrs. P's Dance and Acrobatic Studios of St. Lucie West had a promising and prosperous first year. Looking forward to their first annual dance showcase on Saturday June 14, 2008 at the Treasure Coast High School, teachers and students are overwhelmed with excitement and anticipation for those curtains to finally rise.

With established locations in Coral Springs, Boca Raton, and Weston, Mrs. P's is already a reputable name in Broward and Palm Beach counties. Now in the process of expanding that name further up north into Martin and St. Lucie Counties, the sky is the limit and things look hopeful.

The studio has an extensive dance program scheduled for the summer. Summer classes will be running from June 16 - August 13 from 4:00 - 8:00 pm. Their summer dance camp program begins June 9 and has week long sessions running through July 18. Camp hours are 9:00 - 3:00 pm with early drop-off and late pick-up available.

Mrs. P's accepts students of all ages, from beginners thru professionals, both children and adults. Being a part of a dance studio can truly be an inspiring journey for children. Dance teaches poise, balance, dedication, concentration, social skills and confidence to its scholars. This studio stands firmly behind these vital lifelong character traits and has proven to be successful in doing so for over 30 years now.

Just in their first year, Mrs. P's Extreme Dancers, their competitive dance company, has already began to make a name for itself winning all gold medals and first place achievements at competitions this year. The team focuses on working toward goals set by themselves, as a team, as they progress through the year. These goals that take dedication, teamwork, and determination not only help them succeed in their dance lives but their personal lives, now, and down the road as well.
