BATON TWIRLER WINS BIG AWARDS

Anastasiya Said of Port St. Lucie is the reigning Novice Miss Sunshine Florida State Chanpion. She competed in Orlando the end of April to sweep up this title. She competed against 25 other young ladies from all over the state of Florida in her respective age division of 10 to 12 years old. She competed in modeling, basic strut and solo twirling. She is currently a M&M Sweetie baton twirler taking lessons from Missie Liss, a former Miss Majorette of America. Anastasiya and her family just recently got back from Notre Dame, Indiana and competed at Nationals in the open divisions competing in X-strut, solo and 2- baton. She placed 2nd in both her strut and solo beating out many young 12 year old ladies from all over the U.S. Missie is so very proud of her and looks forward to another great year ahead. Anastasiya works so very hard and has had a great year competiting at many other contests all over the state.
