Opening Reception at Vera's Framing & Art Gallery

Vera's Framing and Art Gallery hosted an opening reception for the on-going End of Summer ... Local Artists' Show on Thursday, August 27, 2009. Attendance was huge - well beyond our wildest dreams - wine, cheese and fruit were served and guests had a chance to meet the featured artists in person and admire many extraordinary works of art.
Among the artists were Mr. Robert Hinkelman with his fantastic landscapes, Nancy Steinberg with her mesmerizing oil paintings, Autum Brahlek with her dreamy pastel florals, Clara Miller with her sweet watercolors, Jo McLean with her abstract acrylics, Sharon Rodriguez with her paintings done on ceramic tiles, just to name a few. Sharon also creates fabulous decorative vases and bowls and with Joanne Nowicki displayed extraordinary hand-made glass and porcelain jewelry.
All artists will be displaying their work during the month of September and we would like to invite you all to see the exhibition.
