St. Lucie Ballet performs.

"How will you top yourself next time?" asks Mr. Steele a fan of St. Lucie Ballet. Our last performance was on June 3 at the beautiful Sunrise Theatre in downtown Fort Pierce. The first part of the evening was a suite of the ballet Coppelia. Performing were students of St. Lucie Ballet and special guest artists Leah Gallas from Tulsa ballet and Rogelio Corrales from Ballet Florida. The advanced students looked just as glamorous dancing alongside real professionals. The younger dancers displayed their natural ability for mime and acting.
The second part of the evening wowed the audience with modern, jazz, tap and hip hop dance works. The finale was an exuberant afro-cuban dance.
Our next scheduled performance will be the Nutcracker Suite on Saturday December 15, 2007. It's a perfect opportunity for families to get dressed up, go out, and enjoy the holiday season.
