FORT PIERCE - The Fort Pierce Branch Library announces the "Monday at the Movies" lineup for April. Held every Monday, the library presents a free film, starting at 2 p.m.; complete with popcorn and drinks.
· April 7: "Last Holiday" starring Queen Latifah playing a woman who is told that she only has one month to live. (112 minutes, rated PG-13)
· April 14: "Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde," featuring Fredric March, Spencer Tracy, Ingrid Bergman and Lana Turner. One man is a paragon of virtue. The other is a murderous creature of the London night. And they are the same person. (113 minutes, not rated)
· April 21: "The Evening Star" with Shirley MacLaine, Bill Paxton, Juliette Lewis and Miranda Richardson. The continuation of the saga that began with the 1983 Best Picture Oscar winner "Terms of Endearment." (129 minutes, rated PG-13)
· April 28: "Strangers on a Train" Alfred Hitchcock's thriller starring Farley Granger and Robert Walker. (101 minutes, rated PG)
Registration is not required and these movies are free.
