As if the economy isn't bad enough, Mother nature dealt small businesses another blow with Fay. Some stores received little damage while others were nearly destroyed from water and waves caused by sightseers. I would like to thank the City and the County for supplying sand bags for our doors, it helped a lot. Small business in the city is what helps keep our local economy going, keeping jobs and money here in the city and not to some corporation out of the state or country! Stop by some of these businesses and see what they have to offer. We're all still cleaning up and doing repairs here on US 1 but we are open for business. The economy, or a storm are not going to keep us from succeeding and bringing you great products and services. Anthony Oraczewski, Performance Video & Sound.

I was laid up during Fay from a surgury, so I did not expereince the waters on US1 but I would have been driving them since I am housed in PSL and work in Martin. Rember all things happen for a reason

Wow! Now, thats a flood. I hope you did not get to much damage on the inside of your store. Its a shame the city and county have not provided the appropriate drainage system for that area. I guess it will continue to happen until all the offices there are empty due to water damage and just think of the illness you will get from mold. I would suggest you send all your repair bills and medical bills to the city, since its their fault. Good Luck!
