Citizens Police Academy Wants You

The Port St. Lucie Police are seeking applicants for the upcoming "Citizens Poilce Academy" that begins February 2nd.  The course gives residents an in depth view of the Police Department and how it functions.  Learn more about SWAT, K-9, Special Investigations, DUI Enforcement, Crime Scene Investigations, Sex Offenders and much more.  The FREE course which meets twice a week for 3 hours per session is open to residents 18 years old and above and ends March 30.  Applicants are subject to criminal background check.  For more information call the Volunteer Administrator at 344-4052 or contact him via e-mail at Rfansler@cityofpsl.com.

This FREE Police Academy course was awesome! My husband and I participated in it years ago when it was first offered in Port St Lucie. Things have changed a lot here in the last few years...the class is so great I think we might just take it again if that is possible! I recommend it! Lee Hedrick
