Don't Become a Victim of Fraud or Identity Theft

  The Port St. Lucie Police Department's Economice Crimes Unit will be hosting a Fraud Prevention and Identity Theft Symposium on January 19, 2006 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the Port St. Lucie Community Center.  This symposium will be FREE of charge to anyone who is interested in attending.  Some of the topics that will be discussed are Internet Scams, Contractor Fraud, Credit Card Skimming, 419 Advanced Fee Scam and much more.  Seating is limited to the first 500 people.  Special guests for the evening's agenda include Chief John Skinner and Special Agents Michael Rothbard and Timothy Strugell from the United States Secret Service.  For more information call the Port St. Lucie Police Department at (772) 871-5001.
