Our Heavenly Sent

My husband and I got married in our later years. We were blessed with a precious son Michael who is now five years old. When Michael was about ten months old my husband and start trying for another baby. It took us years. Until one day (day before father's day 2007) I found out I am pregnant with our second child.
3 years ago I also wrote a poem for my oldest son Michael and I want to do the same for my baby boy Matthew.
Now as I watched my boys (Michael, 5 years old & Matthew 2 years old) grow everyday, it's amazed me the blessing I have from them.
I wrote this poem for my baby boy whom I love dearly and who gave me joy everyday.

Matthew, Our Heavenly Sent

Your father and I had been praying for you for a while
We asked for one more chance to have a little child
Day before father's day the great news has came
for me and your dad
so much joy in our heart my son,
That's you Matthew, our precious little one.

It was amazing how you grew inside of me,
Everyday you grew and grew
Can't wait to get out of my tummy
And be a big boy, like your brother.

You were tumbling inside, love the warmness of my womb
You had so much fun, you move upside down,
Your knees, toes and hand I touched,
So cool to feel you having fun.

Days, weeks, months had passed
'Til its time for you come out
Can't wait to see you our heavenly sent
Our precious little one
So anxious to hold you in my arm.
My little one, oh! Matthew, my precious Matthew
Mommy is so excited to see you, embrace you, and love you.

The time has come; I had so much pain,
Don't know what I'm feeling,
I felt every pain from head to toe,
Every strength I had, I gave for you my son
It's worth the pain to see my healthy precious one.

It was the 8th of February
The day God choose for you to be in my arm
Your big brothers was so excited to hold you little one
It was a precious bonding moment for you and your loving bro,
you both look like me and your dad;
a replica of two person who were joined in marriage and love
Is a miracle from Heavenly One.

I watched you grow every minute of the day
I see how much you become a little person
With lots of awesome personality
You can be quite at times and just want to spend time alone

You are a very playful little child,
Who's happy spirit fly beyond the sky,
Your great personality will make you known to everyone
You are a very talented little child

Oh! Matthew, now that you're TWO
You are more like your bro
It's a joy watching both of you get along
It's fun to see both of you play, like the best buddy

You're expressive personality, make you so unique
You are a very loving, sensitive and smart little child,
You have brought so much joy and happiness in my heart,
Your love for ball will make the best athletes you could ever known.

I know in my heart you are our heavenly sent
Our gift from the Almighty one,
You will always be my precious little son.
Love always and forever,
Mommy
