We wish to welcome home Major Joe Lyons, USAF, from his tour in Afghanistan. As one of the sponsors of the monthly newsletter of the American Legion Post 318, Joe is considered as much a local as anyone, although his home base is presently in Texas,especially since his wife and two daughters visited our Legion Post for lunch one day, and presented us with a small US flag he had flown in Kabul, Afghanistan.

Joe is the nephew of Valentino and Teresa Macor, of PGA Village, St. Lucie West, and married to the former Linda Mazzie of Miami. They have two daughters, Sarah who is a freshman at FSU, and Brittany, a sophomore in High School. They are hoping that Dad is home for good. Welcome home, Joe!
