Honorary Membership - Curves St. Lucie East

Beth Peterson, manager and owner of the Curves in St. Lucie East was presented an Honorary membership to Chapter 564 of the Air Force Sergeants Association for her contributions to their efforts in raising money for scholarships for local youth. Part of Beth's Award, she was also presented a Chapter polo shirt as an extra gift of thanks for her contribution.

During the year, Curves members play games which award them a "curves buck" if they win the game. This "curves buck" may either be donated to a local charity or they may keep the "curves buck" so that they may use it for future Curves merchandise. For nearly the past three years, the charity has been the Air Force Sergeants Association, Chapter 564. With these donations, the chapter has been able to purchase phone cards for our military men and women overseas and donate to worthy causes such as for the homeless veterans and food for needy veterans. Beth Peterson and her members' contributions over the past four years have been without condition.

Every year the chapter launches a raffle fundraiser which is the main fundraiser for scholarships. This year, Beth was instrumental in selling nearly $200.00 in tickets and contributing to raising over $900.00 for the students.

The members of Chapter 564 thank Beth Peterson and all of the members at Curves in St. Lucie East for their donations.
