They made a difference

January 19, 2009 was "Make a Difference Day for Veterans." American Legion Auxiliary Unit #355 honored our Lady Veterans with a luncheon that was held at the "Olive Garden Restaurant" in Tradition. They were treated to lunch, and given red rose corsages, filigree Lady Legion pins and a Certificate of Thanks from the Unit. There were 14 Auxiliary members in attendance to honor the ladies.
Pictured here are 3 out of 6 Lady Veterans from Post #355, Cathy LaValle, Bernie Harvey and Cathy Farrell. We regret the other 3 Lady Veterans, Jennifer Gruen, Lucy Visciano and Hazel O'Neil were not able to attend.
A good time was had by all and our thanks go to all our Veterans who "Made of Difference" for all of us.
