KING CHARLES TEA
Queen Eileen Barrett of the Lucie Goosies and Queen Florence Jones of Dazzling Dames in Red hosted an English Tea at King Charles Tea Shop in Stuart on Monday, March 24, 2008 from 2pm - 4pm. Those attending were: Anna Andreacchio, Adele Conticello, Millie Battaglia, Jeanne Connolly, Kathy Koning and Marylou Piacesi of the Scarlet Vamps; Sidney Weber of the Classy Red Foxes; Pauline Cunningham, Terry Pelletier, Angel Decker, and Sally Breault of Les Femmes en Rouge; Florence Jones, Evelyn Martin, Rennie Bowie, Diane Kemp, Fran Jones, Mary Jane Koliba, Alice Price and Elaine Leming of Dazzling Dames in Red along with a special guest - Florence Semes (the Queen's mother); and Melissa McKinney, Lucille Petruzelli, Julia Raub, Debbie Fasciana, Lynn Krauthamer, Mickie Krever and Eileen Barrett of the Lucie Goosies.
The tea consisted of your choice from a large variety of teas, salmon and cucumber, Ham, Brie & Branston, Chicken Basil Salad and Egg Salad Tea Sandwiches, freshly baked scones with clotted cream, imported jam and fresh strawberries and assorted English Pastries.
There were 4 door prizes. The winners were Marylou Piacesi of the Scarlet Vamps, Marijane Koliba of Dazzling Dames in Red, Florence Semes of Dazzling Dames in Red and Alice Price of Dazzling Dames in Red.
Our Red Hat Split winner was Sally Breault of Les Femmes en Rouge.
If you haven't visited King Charles Tea Room, you simply must go and enjoy yourself. It is just such a wonderful place! We can't wait to go back!
