On Monday, March 30, 2009, the Dazzling Dames in Red took off to West Palm Beach, headed to City Place for a day of Great Food and Fun. One of the cars passed the exit, as the bunch traveling in that car were real "talkers". They still managed to turn around and meet the others in the chapter on time.
The group had lunch at the Cheesecake Factory.
After lunch, we headed out to meet Diva Duck. Most of us bought "quackers" so that we could make a lot of noise after we boarded the duck.
We were welcomed by lots of other visitors of the Duck, and people who were passing by. Everyone wanted to take our picture.
After boarding, Diva Duck took us on a 75 minute, fully narrated musical tour. We rode up HIGH through the Historic neighborhoods and then "SPLASH" into the crystal blue water at the boat ramp at Currie Park for a cruise on the Intracoastal Waterway. The boat show in West Palm Beach was going on, so we had an up close view of many of the boats from the boat show. We saw Peanut Island, several of the spectacular mansions of Palm Beach from the water and the J.F. Kennedy Bomb Shelter.
After returning from our cruise, we returned to the Cheesecake Factory for our Dessert.
Let's all say "QUACK QUACK".
