Red Hatters Attend Dixie's Tupperware Party

On Thursday, April 16, 2009, thirty Red Hat Ladies had lunch at the Dockside Restaurant on Flagler Ave in Stuart, prior to attending Dixie's Tupperware Party at the Lyric. Attending were several members from the Lucie Goosies, Pizazzy Pineapples and Dazzling Dames in Red. There were three birthday girls with us that we sang Happy Birthday to - Lynn Krauthamer, Phyllis Massey and Evelyn Gilliland. After having a wonderful lunch, we walked over to the Lyric and got our nametags and catalogs prior to entering the theatre.

Several ladies from the audience were asked to be part of the show. Two of the ladies from our group got their chance at stardom - Queen Eileen Barrett of the Lucie Goosies and Queen Florence Jones of Dazzling Dames in Red. We drank wine and played games while up on stage. Dixie interacted with the audience a lot. It was like a real Tupperware party as you could make purchases, however this one was truly unique. Dixie was available after the show for those that wanted to talk with her or get their picture taken.

The show was hilarious from start to end. We laughed until we cried.
